Earlier today, Xiaomi India launched the new smartphone Redmi Y2 with prices starting from Rs. 9,999. The poster has a large "6" in the background hinting at the launch of the Redmi 6 series of smartphones. The device is likely to feature an overall metallic body.
The Redmi Y2 is powered by Xiaomi's trusted Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, a chipset that Xiaomi doesn't let go despite several newer variants - it's like they picked a bundle of them at Qualcomm's yard sale.
The phone features dual camera where it has 12 megapixels primary sensor and 5 megapixels secondary sensor. The company also released the latest MIUI 10 and will be soon available for this device. "On the front, there is a 5.99" HD+ display with slight bezels, while at the back, there is Redmi Note 5 Pro-style vertically mounted camera setup and antenna bands running around the top and bottom of the phone as was seen on the Mi A1. While the MIUI 10 update version 8.6.6 for the device is already out, it is limited to only a select few who have taken part in the closed beta program in their home country of China. Their success can be metered by the success of their products, such as the latest feat of the Redmi 5a becoming the most-selling Android phone globally in the first quarter of 2018.
It includes a redesigned Recents app and the deep learning algorithms allow even older phones with single rear camera such as Redmi Note 3 to shoot unbelievable bokeh shots. Successor to the Redmi 4, the Redmi 5 completes Xiaomi's portfolio of affordable Redmi phones in India.
A standalone Joker film starring Jared Leto is on its way
It's also not clear what the movie would be about, but it should connect to " Suicide Squad " or the sequel in some way. In news that only Jared Leto wants, Jared Leto is set to reprise his role as The Joker in a new Suicide Squad spin-off.
Model Redmi 6 will receive a battery capacity of 3900 mAh, front-facing 5 MP main camera and dual camera with one of the sensors at 12 MP. The smartphone is also backed by a 3,080mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Global Positioning System as connectivity options. In terms of memory, Xiaomi Redmi Y2 comes in two variants of 3GB RAM plus 32GB storage and 4GB RAM plus 64GB. Apart from this, the Xiaomi Redmi Y2 is a great budget phone that just destroyed the recently launched Moto G6 Play (and even the Moto G6).
The Xiaomi Redmi Y2 comes in three colors - Gold, Rose Gold, and Grey. It also includes iPhone X-like gesture control support, allowing you to disable the on-screen Android navigation buttons, and make the most of the full-screen display. So, I don't think this phone is going to sell well in Nepal.
