US retailer Walmart Inc (WMT.N) faced an outcry from supporters of President Donald Trump on Tuesday for listing for sale on its open marketplace clothing with the slogan "Impeach 45", an apparent reference to Trump, the country's 45th president. As noted by Bloomberg, the real sellers are companies such as Old Glory and Teespring Inc., which advertise on Walmart's website and give the retail giant a cut of the profits. Angered patrons have vowed to reject the retailer, as the #BoycottWalmart movement begins to gain traction on social media.

"We're removing these types of items pending review of our marketplace policies", a representative for Walmart said via email.
It's not the first time Walmart has gotten into hot water for controversial t-shirts for sale on its website.
Walmart came under fire for another incident last November when customers noticed a shirts that read, "Rope. Tree. Journalist. SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED." that was being sold from its online store a year ago.
The shirt wasn't made by Walmart.
