Governor Scott Walker announced Wisconsin's first ever sales tax holiday that will start August 1st and run through August 5th.

The tax holiday will last until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5.

Walker stated some of the surplus should be returned to tax payers in the form of a sales tax holiday. The local tax break on the Second Amendment Holiday will remain in place.
