"Saturday Night Live" returned for its 44th season September 29 and wasted no time diving back into political sketches, with Matt Damon appearing as Brett Kavanaugh and Rachel Dratch returning as Senator Amy Klobuchar for a cold open sketch about his hearing.
"First of all, I showed this speech to nearly no one", Damon as Kavanaugh declared in the 13-minute cold open.
Kavanaugh has been in the news this week after he spoke at a hearing Senate Judiciary Committee for being accused of sexual assault back in the 1980s. Kavanaugh has denied the accusations.
"I'm a keg half-full kind of guy", Kavanaugh said, referring to his optimistic view of the past.
Damon's proceeds to angrily yells, "I'm gonna start at an 11, I'ma take it to about a 15 real quick", before he continues, "First of all I showed this speech to nearly no one - not my family, not my friends, not even P.J. or Tobin, or Squee".

To him, his followers are his best friends and he would go a long way to ensure that he keeps them refreshed and entertained. There's no time frame to say: "I give you that, I give you that, I give you that". "It's a competition we like".
"I'm usually an optimist", Damon sneered.
He did take it to 15 "real quick" as he shouted about the conspiracy attacking him and guzzled water.
"I've got these calendars", he said.
The sketch also covered Kavanaugh's "beautiful, creepy" diary-like calendars submitted as evidence, his high school yearbook and the definitions of the slang terms used within. All I did was drink a lot and not think about having sex at all.
The sketch also featured Kate McKinnon as Senator Lindsay Graham, who started by saying. I'm not backing down you sons of bitches. I like beer. Boys like beer. "Am I angry? Your damn right". "I was the proudest, drunkest virgin you've ever seen", declared Damon's Kavanaugh as he emotionally recounted his days lifting weights with his friends PJ, Squee, and "Donkey Dong Doug".
