Holiday travelers were facing delays and cancellations at both of Chicago's major airports as a winter storm moved into the area on Sunday.
In eastern Nebraska, part of Interstate 80 between Lincoln and Omaha was closed Sunday morning because of multiple accidents after snow covered that area.

The Chicago Department of Aviation reported early Monday that average departure delays at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport are 77 minutes, and the flight-tracking website FlightAware reported that more than 350 flights headed to or from the US were canceled. Another 44 flights were canceled out of Chicago Midway Airport.
The Chicago area was slammed with up to 30 centimetres of wet snow, and whiteout conditions stalled commuter traffic on the roads.
And an approximately 60-mile stretch of Interstate 70 in Kansas has been closed, according to a tweet from the state's Department of Transportation, from WaKeeney to Russell. Baileyville, Kansas, notched 10 inches and 7 inches fell in Salina, Kansas. Most people were able to leave late last night.
Almost 20 million people were under a high-wind advisory.
Pusha T's Show in Toronto Interrupted by Massive Stage Rush

Dozens of schools in MI are also closed in the Owosso Public Schools, Durand Area Schools, Waterbrook Christian Academy in Genesee Township, New Lothrop Public Schools, and North Huron Schools in Huron County areas, reports M-Live.
