Police in Lexington, Kentucky are in mourning, after a doughnut truck caught fire as it was passing through the town.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire shortly after, but the responding officers took the loss pretty hard.

The department captioned the photographs with, "No words". Lexington police shared images of saddened police officers standing in front of the scorched vehicle on their social media accounts.

Other bereaved parties quickly chimed in, including the Louisville Metro Police Department, which offered "prayers to LPD as they deal with this loss".
