The New York Giants have agreed to trade receiver Odell Beckham Jr.to the Cleveland Browns, a source confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday evening. So, the Browns essentially traded Pick 17, Peppers, and Danny Shelton for one of the best wide receivers in the league.
Beckham's name has been in trade rumors for over a year now, but seeing it come to fruition is still a shocker. Despite having an emerging career with the Browns, those with dual loyalties struggled to get behind the enigmatic athlete that they once loathed.
Beckham is expected to request an upgraded contract with the Browns.
The Giants will have more dead cap money next year than any other National Football League team as of right now, having just paid Odell nearly $21.5 million in cash for one lost 2018 season. In three years at MI, he had 119 tackles, 3 sacks and one interception, in his final game at Ohio State. That's bold, man. We never saw Thompson do that, and it's drawing rave reviews from Packers fans who have always wanted their team spend money aggressively in free agency.
The deal for Beckham Jr.is conditional on both players passing physicals. But, for now, they appear to be in the process of retooling, so they could have trouble improving greatly - unless they add another quality receiver and a quarterback in the draft. Perhaps, they were one big weapon away from really going over the top. After missing 12 games in 2017 with an ankle injury, Beckham rebounded with 77 catches for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns a year ago, despite his well-documented complaints about Manning and the offense.
"I feel like in the past five years they found a way to run a Cover 2, keep everything in front, and that's how they play me - and there's no way to say "How do we beat this?"

Savage's account is similar to comments Kelly made in his explosive interview with King, which aired Wednesday. But as far as King is concerned, she's being showered with nothing but praise for keeping cool while R.
The Browns have already landed a major piece to their offensive puzzle this offseason with grabbing wide out Odell Beckham Jr.

Trading Beckham so soon after signing him to a megadeal will cost the Giants dearly.
In 59 games Beckham caught 390 passes for 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns, which was good enough for three Pro Bowl appearances.
With the move, the Browns' odds to win the Super Bowl LIV next season have increased.
