According to a new report, New York Attorney General Letitia James has opened a new investigation into President Donald Trump's projects in the Empire State, including his failed bid to buy the Buffalo Bills.

Congressional Democrats, the Southern District of NY, and Special Counsel Robert Mueller all have their eyes on President Donald Trump.

But the reason for the new subpoenas, the Times noted, was Michael Cohen's recent testimony before Congress.

President Donald Trump blasted the state of NY and Governor Andrew Cuomo as the latest "PRESIDENTIAL HARASSERS" earlier tonight.

A person familiar with the matter says Monday's subpoenas seek loan applications, mortgages and other records. "The Witch Hunt continues!" the president tweeted.

Deutsche Bank was listed on Mr. Trump's financial disclosure forms as his biggest creditor. The Trump Organization didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

Deutsche Bank is already the subject of a joint investigation between the House Financial Services and Intelligence Committees into Trump's businesses and money laundering involving Russian Federation. Trump's company borrowed billions of dollars from the German bank over the years.

"I will be shining a bright light into every dark corner of his real estate dealings, and every dealing, demanding truthfulness at every turn", she said in her election victory speech in November, according to the Times.

Trump has complained that James is waging a politically motivated vendetta against him.

House Democrats are also probing Trump's ties with Deutsche Bank, one of the few institutions to lend to Trump after a series of bankruptcies in the 1990s.

Her predecessors sued Mr Trump over the operations of Trump University, his property school.

Cohen testified that Trump inflated the stated worth of his assets in financial statements.

Trump has said Cohen is lying to try to get out of a prison sentence for tax evasion, campaign finance violations, making false statements to banks and lying to Congress.
