Today at Star Wars Celebration during The Mandalorian panel, we learned some additional details about the first live-action Star Wars series that's coming to Disney+ when it launches November 12, 2019.
The Mandalorian's creator and executive producer Jon Favreau took the stage at Star Wars Celebration alongside his co-executive producer, and the premiere's director, Dave Filoni. How does that work into all that stuff from the prequels about Boba Fett being a clone of the mercenary Jango Fett?
The show is set five years after Return of the Jedi, after the fall of the Empire but before the rise of the First Order in The Force Awakens. He travels the outer reaches of the galaxy alone, far away from the laws of the New Republic. "I'm a bit of a loner-which isn't a far stretch", she says, "and I'm having a bit of trouble reintegrating myself into society".
